A Legacy of Design. A Commitment to Craft.
Since 2000, House of Forgings has been redefining what is possible in stair design. We recognized early on that stairways could be more than functional—they could be an architectural expression of the home. What began with a growing demand for innovative, decorative iron stair balustrades has evolved into one of the industry’s most comprehensive collections of wood and metal stair products.
Today, House of Forgings offers an extensive range of wood, wrought iron, stainless steel, and architectural stair components, bringing together traditional craftsmanship, contemporary design, and enduring quality. Our collections are designed to complement a wide range of architectural styles, from timeless traditional to refined transitional and modern.
Every product is thoughtfully designed to balance form and function, creating stair systems that are as distinctive as the spaces they inhabit.

The House of Forgings Experience
For more than 25 years, we have built our business around a simple understanding: great products are only part of the experience. Our customers expect knowledgeable people, dependable service, broad availability, and products that help them bring their vision to life.
We continually monitor and drive architectural and remodeling trends, develop new designs and finishes, and expand our collections to meet the changing needs of builders, stair professionals, designers, and homeowners.
Technology is also an important part of the House of Forgings experience. Our StairArtist™ online design tool gives customers an intuitive way to explore stair designs, allowing them to drag and drop balusters and newels to create and visualize their own stair patterns before making a final selection.
